Radioactivity

A nucleus decaying.

The radioactivity module covers work on atomic structure, sources, uses and dangers of radioactivity.  Students learn how to solve numerical problems involving half-lives, and complete equations for fission events, fusion events and decay events.  Students then explore these ideas further in the context of stellar life cycles.
