2) Which one is small and light?

 

3) What is voltage?

 

4) What is current?

 

5) What is resistance?

 

6) What is the difference between static electricity and current electricity?

Your teacher will ask for a volunteer to build a simple circuit - containing 2 cells, 2 bulbs, and a switch.

Task 4 - More complex circuit diagrams

 

  
 

 

Electricity arcing.

  

 

Two-way switches can be used:

 

 

• to switch between two components.

 

• at the top and bottom of a staircase, to control the same light

 

 

 

 

Your teacher will show you both kinds of circuit.  Draw circuit diagrams for these circuits.  Think carefully about these - they are a little more complex!
